A complete, well-presented listing is your most powerful tool for attracting the right brands. On POP UP SHOPS, booking decisions happen fast. Brands scan listings in seconds and move on. The information and images you provide directly determine whether they click, inquire, or scroll past.
Remember: Optimised listings receive up to 3x more inquiries than incomplete ones.1. Space information
Include the following details in your listing:
- Address and location of your space
- Size of the retail space (sq ft or m2)
- Available facilities (electricity, Wi-Fi, parking, storage, etc.)
- Description of your space (see Writing descriptions below)
- House rules (if applicable)
- Floor plan (if available)
- Any additional leasing terms and conditions
Cancellation policy
You must select one of the following cancellation policies when setting up your listing:
- Flexible: cancellations accepted up to 1 week before the booking start date
- Moderate: cancellations accepted up to 2 weeks before the booking start date
- Strict: cancellations accepted up to 1 month before the booking start date
Choose the policy that reflects how you want to manage last-minute changes. Brands can see this policy before submitting a request.
Pricing
Set a price per day, week, and month. You can also set special prices for specific dates later from the availability calendar. See How do I manage availabilities and set up special prices?
2. Image Requirements
The main image is the single most important element of your listing. It determines whether a brand clicks or scrolls past.
What to photograph
For each property:
- Exterior shots
- Interior overview
- Key focal points
- Atmospheric images
- Special building features
For each space:
- Exterior shots
- Interior overview
- Focal points
- Special features of the space
Technical requirements
- Minimum 3 images per property and per space (6 or more recommended)
- File format: JPEG or PNG
- Minimum resolution: 1200 x 800 px
- Maximum file size: 5 MB
- Organisation logos: SVG or PNG, minimum 600 x 600 px
What makes a good main image
- Wide angle, showing the entire bookable space
- Empty, clean, and well lit
- No logos, event decorations, or distracting elements
- The brand should immediately see what they are renting
Avoid using company logos, dark or blurry shots, or images taken during events as your main image. These reduce click-through rates significantly.

3. Writing your description
Your description is where you sell the space. Brands want to know what it feels like to trade there, who it suits, and what makes it stand out. A strong description covers:
- What type of space it is and where it is located in the building
- Size and layout
- Available facilities (power outlets, Wi-Fi, storage, furniture, etc.)
- Daily visitor footfall and catchment area
- Anchor tenants or notable neighbours in the same building
- Minimum booking duration and setup times
- A contact prompt or next step for interested brands
Title formula
Use this structure for your listing title:
[Space type] + [Location or position in building] + [1 unique selling point]
Example: "Promotional space ground floor, West entrance, 20,000 daily visitors"
Keep your title under 70 characters and never lead with your company name.
Minimum length
Your description must contain at least 120 words. Listings with shorter descriptions rank lower in search results on POP UP SHOPS.

Before you publish
Make sure all required fields are filled in, at least 3 images are uploaded, your cancellation policy is selected, and your pricing is set before hitting Publish. Incomplete listings are less likely to attract booking requests.
