Payment to the landlord depends on the listing’s type of booking. The following are the types of booking:
- Inquiries: If you send an inquiry and receive an invitation to book, accepting that invitation will take you to the payment page. After filling out your payment details, you will be charged immediately upon completing the booking.
- Booking Requests: For booking requests, you enter your card details during the booking process. The payment is pre-authorized and held in escrow. Once your booking request is accepted, your card will be charged. If your booking is declined, the pre-authorization is suspended, and your card will not be charged.
- Instant Bookings: If instant bookings are available, your payment will be processed immediately upon completing the booking process
- Security Deposits: If the landlord requires a security deposit, it must be paid directly to them.
