How can I create teams for users?

One of the benefits of the Spacewise Pro subscription is that you can set up units and employee structures for your organization. With this feature you can assign your team different roles which gives them different levels of access. A manager can edit listings and respond to messages and requests, a supervisor manages resources for a unit. 

To set up organizational structures:

  1. Go to the settings tab on your dashboard and scroll down to the section called “Units”

  2. If desired, you can add extra units for greater organization. By default you should automatically have one for your organization. 

  3. Click on a unit and select “+ New User”

  4. Fill in the email address of the person being added, and select their role

  5. Click on save. An invitation will be sent to the user, and they will be prompted to make a password for Spacewise. If this person is already registered on Spacewise, they will be added to the unit, but no notification is sent. 

If you would like to change the role of a team member in a unit, you must first remove them and re add them to the unit. 

  1. First select the unit in question

  2. Select the person in question and select “delete”

  3. Click the “+ new user” button, enter the email address of the deleted person and select their new role.
